Hope is a powerful
medicine. Possessing it can be a restorative tonic for mending
shattered dreams. Hope is what Reggie Dooley of Bloombrook
International is dispensing. Nine years ago, my youngest son,
Corey, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, Corey was
sixteen. From that moment, I began living a parent's worst
nightmare. The thought of losing my child, of being powerless
to stop his suffering, of seeing his dreams snatched away
was unbearable. Brain surgery, radiation, and one year of
high-dose chemotherapy blessedly never stopped Corey's courageous,
amazing spirit. That spirit bound our family together, and
praise God, Corey is in remission today.
Unfortunately,
though, the back lower portion of Corey's skull could not
be replaced. This caused an unsightly, scared indentation.
In addition to this, radiation caused permanent hair loss.
Cancer could not stop Corey but hair loss almost did.
Our
next mission was to find hair replacement that would give
Corey hope for a normal life. Corey's hospital recommended
a company. Filled with hope, we made an appointment. This
was a nightmare, from the beginning, all we heard were platitudes
and arrogant statements. No one listened to Corey, and I am
ashamed to admit, I believed their lies. Corey was fitted
with a painful, expensive wig. When Corey expressed his concerns,
he was told to "deal with it, this is the best that anyone
can offer". Corey left with the ill fitting wig on his head.
As we drove home, I looked into his devastated eyes and, for
the first time, I saw hopelessness. My husband saw it too
and immediately told Corey to remove and throw away the hair.
For
the next few months we searched for a miracle. Then one morning
Corey told me he had just seen an infomercial about the "Invisible
Secret." I was skeptical, but Corey was insistent and sent
for the free video. This is when Corey's life changed. Reggie
Dooley entered our lives. From the start, Reggie listened
to Corey-really listened, and he was fitted with "The Invisible
Secret." Immediately, Corey was transformed, his eyes had
their old sparkle, which I had not seen for years. I can't
tell you what it felt like to watch my son stand in front
of a mirror and comb his hair. My only thought was that God
has sent Reggie to Corey. What a miracle!
Truthfully,
though, because of Corey's unique situation, problems have
occurred, but each one was handled sensitively and efficiently.
Reggie possesses great empathy. He has a tenacious will to
help people, especially children, who have suffered immensely
from alopecia.
I
am writing this testimonial because within a few days Corey
will be fitted with a new, innovative "Invisible Secret" hair
system that will address and correct Corey's missing bone.
I never dreamt it was possible, but Reggie did. Reggie never
gives up searching for answers to his client's unique problems.
I believe Reggie foresees the invisible, clutches the elusive,
and achieves the impossible.
